This is a story about All County Property Management. “My client Shaun was a case of never give up, never surrender,” said FBA Broker Randy Abernathy. When Randy first met Shaun in January of 2020, he had recently relocated to the area and had money from a recent house sale that he was looking to invest in a business of his own.

After going through research and investigation cycles with several brands, Shaun thought he had finally chosen the franchise he wanted to invest his money into. A major franchise finance company had assured him they could finance the concept he wanted, and things seemed they were moving in the right direction.

COVID Setbacks Aren’t the End

2020 brought hardships to many industries, including the franchise industry. Randy and Shaun were determined to still make their purchase however, “by the time he was ready to sign, COVID had seriously changed the landscape of franchise financing and we were now told that he could not secure financing for the concept he wanted,” said Randy. “We stepped back, looked at several funding alternatives, but ultimately concluded, much to everyone’s dismay, that no good financing alternative was available in the current climate.”

This setback didn’t put an end to Shaun’s potential franchisee career – he decided to begin the journey again, this time looking for a franchise for which he could pay cash. He spoke with a couple of different brands under the FBA umbrella with Randy’s guidance. “Ultimately it was Hon and the folks at All Country Property Management that got my clients attention,” said Randy. “Their discovery day sealed the deal, and Shaun left knowing he wanted to build a business with them.”

It was exactly one year and 3 days after Randy’s first conversation with Shaun that he signed –finally fulfilling his dream of owning his own business!
