GLENDALE, WI – June 23, 2021 – Verlo Mattress is looking forward to serving the community! We are working with Franchisee Natalina and Tom Metz as they prepare to open the newest location near Bayshore Mall at 6000 N. Port Washington Road, where Pier 1 Imports used to be located. The Verlo Mattress franchise grand opening will be later this summer.
National Sleep Products Company Expanding New Territories.
This site will be the latest venture for Verlo Franchise Owners Tom and Natalina Metz, who currently own Verlo Mattress of Delafield. Tom began his journey with Verlo Mattress over 40 years ago, and says he couldn’t pass up this opportunity to bring Verlo to Glendale. “New is always exciting. I like new, I like change. I like the adventure of it. I just have such a secure feeling knowing the product, knowing the company as well as I do, and knowing geographically where the store is going is a great location.”
Success from the Top Down
Bobby Cleveland, Director of Franchise Development, says Verlo franchise owners like Natalina and Tom Metz, are the backbone of the company. “I love that they are able to grow their business by opening a new location. Natalina and Tom created this opportunity through their hard work and franchisees like them are the reason Verlo Mattress is so successful.”
Verlo Mattress is always ready to welcome new franchise owners to the family as well! If a person is interested in becoming an owner of the #1 consumer-direct mattress franchise, they can learn more on the franchising page of the Verlo Mattress website. Cleveland says it’s a great opportunity to bring the gift of better sleep to your community. “Verlo Mattress provides franchisees with the tools and training needed to build a successful business. They in turn provide the community with personalized mattresses that are made locally. Now, more than ever, people want personalized products and personalized services to match. That is exactly what Verlo Mattress provides the community which makes it a great time to be a Verlo Mattress franchisee.”
Efficiencies to Supply Chain
Cleveland says building mattresses locally adds efficiencies to the business considering the supply chain obstacles felt throughout many industries during the global pandemic. “We were able to pivot component vendors and continue to build mattresses when the typical mattress reseller was unable to obtain mattresses to sell. Building mattresses locally is a very powerful tool for our franchisees and provides a better experience for our customers. As 2020 showed us, our business model provided our franchisees the tools needed to serve their customers when many others could not.”
Verlo looks forward to the new Glendale store opening in a couple of months and will be supporting Natalina and Tom Metz on the next chapter of their Verlo story. Like all Verlo stores, the new showroom on Port Washington Road will offer hand-made, personalized mattresses, plus pillows, adjustable bases, and other sleep accessories.
“We are very thankful to Natalina and Tom for their new store and investment into the community. We are proud of Verlo’s long legacy and we look forward to many more years of continued success for Natalina and Tom.” said Dirk Stallmann, President, Verlo Mattress.

There is no charge to the Buyer for our Franchise Broker services.
