And what’s left of the week is what’s to come on Friday’s Broker FUNdamentals session, where we will focus on reviewing presentations, providing essential tips and best practices for conducting impactful (and visually appealing) introductions to your candidates.
More Than Mentoring
Adding excitement to the week, FBA events have been gaining more momentum than ever – thank you so much to all who take the time to attend!
Our recent Regional Event with The Camp Transformation Center showcased the power of effective Discovery Days which led to an increase in Broker commission. “We thought this was by far the most effective Broker event we have ever had. We, too, are excited, and the extra commission should help convey that message to the Brokers.” – Kyle Glasgow, The Camp.
Check out their listing and our latest brand strategy article!
Lastly, we can’t forget the Membership Mixer yesterday! Our Members enjoyed the topic “Intro to Zor” diving deep into the process, talking about relationship dynamics + suggestions for improving connections and communications, and also what to expect at every stage. “I’m getting back into the swing of things so this Mixer is nice. I love the chance to pop into different rooms, ask questions and have control over the event, great format, great structure, easy to use and navigate around. Pretty good forum,” one FBA Member commented.
Stay tuned for what’s coming up!
Advanced Mentoring: Content That Makes You Money
While discussing “Content That Makes You Money,” FBA Brokers shared best practices for leveraging content for marketing and business enhancement. The session aimed to dissect candidate-facing content, focusing on their marketing utility and potential to generate revenue.
FBA gives Brokers access to two types of monthly resources:
- Leadership topics for inspiration
- Data/industry specific franchise topics
The highlighted article for this session was leadership topic: “Is Business Ownership Something I Should Consider?“
The group was guided on how to present this content to candidates, practicing live examples and scripts. This hands-on approach aimed to equip Brokers with practical skills for leveraging content to foster candidate engagement and lead generation.
Moreover, they emphasized the importance of utilizing platforms like LinkedIn for content sharing, enhancing visibility through reposting, and engaging with the audience through comments and hashtags. Brokers were encouraged to incorporate the content into their marketing strategies, using it as a call to action or a hook to capture leads and re-engage with existing or potential candidates.

How to Sell These Brands, Season 2: Le Macaron French Pastries & Fundraising University
This Wednesday’s mentoring session took a deep dive into two unique franchise opportunities: Le Macaron French Pastries and Fundraising University, with presentations led by FBA Brokers, Laura Roman and Gordie Dunn, respectively.
Before diving into the brand presentations, participants were introduced to the “55 by 5 Rule,” a strategic approach aimed at enhancing productivity and time management.
This rule encourages focusing on “green activities” that directly contribute to success, minimizing time spent on less impactful “yellow activities”. A tracking sheet method was suggested to monitor daily activities, aiming for 85 to 90% of the day to be spent on income-generating tasks.
This productivity booster was recommended for its effectiveness in refocusing efforts on what truly matters in business operations. Learn more tips and tricks every Wednesday!
